TideFort distributes plugins directly through our website and may also distribute through third-party marketplaces such as the WordPress Plugin Directory and WooCommerce Marketplace. The terms of service may vary depending on where you purchased the plugin. If you purchased a plugin through a third-party marketplace, you are also subject to their Terms of Service.
Licensing
All TideFort plugins, including the TideFort Role Based Pricing plugin, are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.0 or later (www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html). The GPL gives you the freedom to use, modify, and distribute the plugins subject to certain conditions detailed in the license.
Plans and Subscription Options
TideFort offers various subscription options for our plugins:
- Annual Plans: Provide 1 year of automatic updates and support from the date of purchase. These plans auto-renew annually unless canceled.
- Lifetime Plans: Provide unlimited updates and support with no recurring charges.
A valid and active license key is required to receive updates and access support for purchased plugins.
Automatic Updates and Support
Updates
- Annual Plan subscribers receive automatic updates for 1 year from purchase.
- Lifetime Plan subscribers receive automatic updates indefinitely.
- After the Annual Plan period expires, you may continue using the product but will not receive updates unless you renew your subscription.
- You may cancel your Annual Plan subscription at any time from your plugin.
Support
Support for purchased plugins is provided for:
- 1 year for Annual Plans
- Unlimited time for Lifetime Plans
Our standard response time is within 1 business day.
Support Includes:
- Assistance with plugin features and functionality
- Bug fixes and issue resolution
- Plugin updates for compatibility with new WordPress and WooCommerce versions
- Installation guidance
Support Does Not Include:
- Custom modifications or development work
- Integration with third-party plugins not explicitly listed as compatible
- Website design, development, or general WordPress consulting
- Training beyond our documentation resources
- Server or hosting environment issues
Intellectual Property Rights
All TideFort plugins, including TideFort Role Based Pricing, are the property of TideFort. The code, design, functionality, documentation, and brand elements are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
While the plugins are licensed under GPL, which allows for code modification, the TideFort name, logo, and brand identity remain the exclusive property of TideFort and may not be used without permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our plugins are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Plugin Delivery
After successful payment processing, you will receive an email with:
- Your order details
- License key
- Download instructions
Access to re-download purchased files is available as long as your license key is valid. If a license expires, download access will be discontinued until the license is renewed.
Installation and Usage
You are responsible for the installation and configuration of the plugins. We provide documentation to assist with installation and use, but we are not responsible for any issues that arise due to incorrect installation or configuration.
Price Changes
TideFort reserves the right to modify, change, or update plugin prices, subscription terms, and license conditions at any time without prior notice. Any price changes will not affect existing purchases until renewal time for subscription-based licenses.
Discounts and Promotions
- Any promotional discounts apply only to the initial term of a subscription.
- Renewal pricing will revert to the standard price of the plugin at the time of renewal.
- Discount codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
- TideFort reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.
Refund Policy
Refunds for purchases made through third-party marketplaces are subject to the refund policies of those platforms.
Data Protection and Privacy
TideFort is committed to protecting your personal information. Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website.
Limitation of Liability
Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, TideFort shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, arising out of the use or inability to use our plugins.
The total liability of TideFort for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific plugin that is the subject of the claim.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
